Sometime restumping can’t be avoided, so if your timber stumps are 30 to 40 years old and you have internal plaster cracks or doors jamming, they will more than likely need replacing (fewer years if it has been wet under the house).
To do this we level the house with many hydraulic jacks to limit cracking and for our safety. The old stumps are then pulled out and replaced with new 100x100mm concrete stumps on a new concrete pad 200mm thick often using a pump to fill the new holes.
All work is inspected by a building surveyor and guaranteed.
